Why Do We Celebrate Cinco De Mayo?

Cinco de Mayo marks the 1862 Battle of Puebla, when a small Mexican army defeated a large regiment of French soldiers on the morning of May 5th, 1862 in Puebla, Mexico. For Mexican-Americans, Cinco de Mayo is a day to celebrate it's heritage!
