The El Paso International Airport is now offering a new service, called the cell phone waiting lot.

What is the Cell Phone Waiting Lot?  It’s a new feature were motorists can park temporarily as they wait to pick up family, friends, and business associates.

The concept is simple; you pull up to the cell phone lot as you wait for an arriving passenger and then when your passenger calls you and is ready, you pull out and pick them up curbside.

The cell phone waiting lot is free and helps motorists save time, and gas and avoids circling the airport as well as alleviating road congestion.

The 30 space cell phone waiting lot at El Paso International Airport is conveniently located at Piper and American Drive adjacent to the long term parking lot exit plaza just 1 minute south of the main airport entrance. From Airway Blvd. northbound, follow signs, turn right on Piper (1st street past the Radisson Hotel), at the stop sign (American Dr) turn left and left into cell phone lot.
