Check out this amazing play a quick-thinking Jon Lester of the Chicago Cubs made on the fly after snagging a hard ground ball that got stuck in the webbing of his glove.

Instead of wasting precious seconds trying to get the ball out, he just threw the entire glove to first. And how astute was the 1st baseman to take off his own glove in order to catch the one being thrown at him for the out?
