Watch The Most Cringeworthy ‘Ellen’ Segment With Giada De Laurentiis And Nicole Kidman Sniping At Each Other [VIDEO]

When things are going wrong, sometimes people say there are too many cooks in the kitchen, but in this hilariously awkward cooking segment on Ellen Degeneres’ show earlier this week, there were two too many queen bees in the kitchen.

Giada De Laurentiis is a Food Network celebrity chef, but she is also known for her insistence on going full on Italian with a few select words, like the way she says ‘spaghetti’ and the hard way she says words like ‘crust’. She was even asked about her food mispronunciation pet peeves at a food fair in San Diego. You can see by the way she squirms that it really does bug her to talk about the subject.

She also seems to be bugged by having to share the ‘Ellen’ stage with Nicole Kidman in this clip from the Ellen Show YouTube channel. In their description of the show, even they seem to acknowledge the awkwardness. I don’t know why Giada seems to be so intent on being rude to both Ellen and Nicole, but she came off looking really bad. She says in the clip that it’s been a long time since she had been on Ellen’s show. I’m guessing from the way Ellen was acting, it’s going to be even longer the next time!
