It’s not every day you see Pope Francis lose his temper.

Footage of the pope walking through a crowd in the city of Morelia in central Mexico yesterday captured the rare moment.

In the video Francis is seen shaking people’s hands when an unseen person in the crowd grabs his outstretched hand and pulls on him, causing the pope to lose his balance and fall face-first onto someone in a wheelchair.

Francis casts an angry look at the person responsible and, according to the news service Reuters, raised his voice and said to him or her in Spanish, "Don't be selfish!"

Uh-oh, someone's going to be reciting a few extra Hail Mary’s and Our Father’s at their next confessional.
