Jack Skellington is a pretty cool guy. He is the Pumpkin King, ruler of all he surveys in Halloween Town, but man - or skeleton in this case - cannot live in a dark Halloween world his whole life. One night after Halloween, Jack and his dog go for a walk and he finds the doorway to Christmas Town and nothing is ever the same.

Jack wants the ghost and goblin residents of Halloween Town to see Christmas Town and put on Christmas instead of Halloween. Needless to say, a lot of craziness ensues because the Halloween Towners just can't figure out this new holiday. It's a pretty funny movie, but there are some rather darkly humerous moments.

The Nightmare Before Christmas is rated PG, and there are a few moments that aren't really scary, but will make little ones jump, so watch the trailer and you'll know if your little beasties can handle this movie.

This is the last free movie of the year at the International Museum of Art. Hopefully they will continue the classic movie series going in 2017.
