Watch As Monika Gets Dunked

Monika was dunked over the weekend and we can’t stop watching!

Local celebrities Andy Imfeld from the El Paso Chihuahuas along with J.C Navarrete, morning anchor for KVIA and I signed up to get dunked as part of GECU’s annual employee picnic over the weekend at Cattleman’s Steakhouse in Fabens.

The event was incredibly awesome as over 2,000 employees and their family members enjoyed a day at Cattleman’s Steakhouse featuring tons of activities for the whole family including massages, a petting zoo, wagon trail and hay rides, loteria, catered meal and much more. The day also included live entertainment from DJ’s and Elia Esparza including characters from the animated film Moana for the kids, and then closed out the day’s activities with fireworks and smore’s. I mean really, it doesn’t get any better than this.

Truth be told this was my first time being dunked and it was a little nerve wrecking in the beginning because of the anticipation before getting dunked but after the first dip I actually couldn’t get enough – it really is that fun!

Thank you to GECU for the invite and the wonderful hospitality - it was a weekend I won’t soon forget.
