Watch as KVIA’s Estela Casas Sings for A Good Cause

Estela Casas took the stage to sing during Wish Night – The Stars of Make-A-Wish fundraising dinner.

I had the honor to take part in Wish Night – The Stars of Make-A-Wish earlier last week to help raise money for the local El Paso chapter of Make-A-Wish foundation that grants wishes to children in our community.

The evening was a huge success but at the end of the evening guests got a surprise from KVIA’s News Anchor, Estella Casas who was joined by local El Paso band Dusty Low on stage. Casas sang ‘Mil Pasos’ and pretty much blew everyone away by her beautiful voice.

Estela Casas recently announced that she has been diagnosed with bilateral breast cancer and has created a new fund with the El Paso Community Foundation to help women with breast cancer. The Stand With Estela Fund will assist local El Paso patients of limited means in their battle against cancer.
