During the morning of Monday, June 29th a man loaded a cart full of goodies from Walmart and left the store without paying. He is now being sought out by The Las Cruces Police.

Store surveillance cameras spotted the thief and his vehicle leaving the Walmart off of Rinconada off Highway 70 in Las Cruces. The man was suspected of loading about $4,000 worth of store merchandise. Las Cruces Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information that helps identify the suspect.

From what police can see in the surveillance camera, the man is believed to be Hispanic or Caucasian with short brown hair. The vehicle he was seen driving is believed to be a gold Toyota Tacoma with a matching camper on the truck bed. The Tacoma is a pre-2005 model year.

Anyone with information that can help identify the suspect, or if you or someone you know has information on the whereabouts of the vehicle, you are asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS or you can even send a tip by text message to CRIMES (274637) and use the keyword LCTIPS.
