Walmart Neighborhood Market Coming to East Mesa in Las Cruces

Walmart officials confirmed they will be building a neighborhood store on the East Mesa of Las Cruces. 

It was confirmed on Wednesday by Walmart officials that they are ready to move forward with the building of a new Walmart Neighborhood Store on the East Mesa Area of Las Cruces. The new, smaller format store which will be the first of its kind in Las Cruces and is expected to create 95 new jobs.

The store plan is looking at about 40,000 square feet and will be only groceries and some necessity items as opposed to a regular Walmart store with auto, paint and a toy section. It will also give the opportunity for local suppliers to grow with the Neighborhood store as they will take on more local produce and products.
