If you have recently picked up plums, peaches or nectarines at big name store, you might need to throw those away.

Wawona Packing Co. believe the fruit they packaged, might be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. Listeria monocytogenes is a bacterium that can cause Listeriosis. The most common symptoms of Listeriosis are gastrointestinal issues (such as diarrhea), fever and muscle aches.

Wawona Packing Co. have voluntarily recalled these fruits they have packed at its Cutler, California, warehouses between June 1 and July 12. They are also recalling any baked goods that also use the fruit in their products. The recall is nationwide, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

To check if you have recently purchased any of the recalled fruit, check for a sticker that says, "SWEET 2 EAT," according to the recall warnings. Many of the companies carrying these products have released statements on their websites or Facebook pages. For a full list, see FDA.gov.
