You can walk to help find a cure and end Alzheimer’s!

Did you know that Alzheimer’s is the sixth-leading cause of death in the nation?

What is Alzheimer’s? This devastating disease is the most common type of dementia and since there is no cure at this time, it usually progresses, gets worse and eventually leads to death.

According to our local Alzheimer’s chapter, “The Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s is the world’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research. Held annually in more than 600 communities nationwide, this inspiring event calls on participants of all ages and abilities to reclaim the future for millions.”

This year you can make a difference by participating, start or join a team at alz.org/walk
