Walk to End Alzheimer’s Happening This Weekend

This weekend hundreds of El Pasoans will walk to end Alzheimer’s on Saturday, Oct. 3, 2015 at the Southwest University Park.

The event aims to raise awareness about Alzheimer’s along with clinical studies, services, support programs and advocacy opportunities. Last year El Paso raised $164,000 and $67 million nationwide to help further research and care.

This year the Walk to End Alzheimer’s will also honor those affected by Alzheimer's disease during the Promise Garden ceremony.

• 11 a.m. - Opening ceremony
• 11:15 a.m. - Walk begins
