Saturday’s first-ever meeting between the UTEP Miners and the Army Black Knights was full of pomp and circumstance.

UTEP officials went all out in honoring our nation’s military with tributes and salutes before, during, and after the historic matchup.

The university's “Once City, One Team” celebration included draping the entire Sun Bowl field from endzone to endzone with a field-size American flag, and a stirring Apache Helicopter flyover during our National Anthem.

The Star-Spangled Banner was sung beautifully by Sgt. 1st Class Linda Wolfe, vocalist for the 1st Armored Division Band Ft. Bliss. Check it out in the video above.
