Veterans Day Freebies and Deals

November 11^th honors all the men and woman who have served and are serving in the military. While we cannot thank them enough for their service, veterans all over can at least enjoy a free meal today in honor of Veterans Day.

Many restaurants and businesses are honoring veterans by offering discounts and or free meals to current and former military service members on Friday, November 11, 2016. The following discounts apply to both active-duty military personnel and veterans and don’t forget to take proof of your service when you stop by any of the following locations.

• Applebee's: Free entree from a limited menu.
• Baskin-Robbins: For every ice cream scoop sold in the U.S., the company will donate 11 cents to United Service Organizations.
• Buffalo Wild Wings: Free small order of 10-12 traditional or boneless wings and a side of fries.
• Chili's: Free meal.
• Chipotle: Buy one, get one free bowls, burritos, salads and tacos from 3 p.m. to close. Includes military spouses.
• Chuck E. Cheese: One free personal pizza. Other discount packages available.
• Cracker Barrel: Free slice of Double Chocolate Fudge Coca-Cola Cake.
• Famous Dave's: Free Two Meat Combo, including side and cornbread.
• Golden Corral: A free "thank you" dinner will be held Monday.
• Great Clips: Veterans who go to Great Clips for a haircut on Nov. 11 will receive a coupon for a free hair cut valid through Dec. 31.
• Hooters: Choose from one of five free meals.
• IHOP: From 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., get a free red, white and blue pancake meal. Some locations also will offer a free combo of two eggs, hash browns and choice of two bacon strips or pork sausage links.
• Olive Garden: Free entree.
• Outback Steakhouse: Free Bloomin' Onion and a beverage. Outback also is offering active and former service members 15% off their meals and their families' Nov. 12 through Dec. 31.
• Red Lobster: Free appetizer or dessert.
• Red Robin: Free dine-in Red’s Tavern Double Burger and Bottomless Steak Fries.
• Ruby Tuesday: Free appetizer, up to $10 value.
