The UTEP Women’s Basketball team beat the Washington Huskies 70-63.

Some longtime fans of the team coached by Keitha Adams said they don’t care if the crowd was made up of bandwagon fans or so called real fans, just that they were there. They also said that they hoped people would start taking the women’s games more seriously and start buying season tickets.

Coach Adams said she was ecstatic about the huge crowd at last nights game, and said the fans and El Paso are helping the team win.

Tickets go on sale this morning at 8 o’clock for tomorrow night’s Final Four game at the Don. They’ll be $5 for students, $10 general admission, and $15 floor seats.

Go Miners!
