UTEP Will Honor Teachers at Football Game This Weekend

The University of Texas at El Paso will honor regional teachers and staff this weekend at the UTEP football game on Saturday, November 26, 2016.

UTEP will honor the contributions of teachers, administrators and support staff at public and private schools throughout Region 19 during the UTEP football game against the University of North Texas this Saturday, at the Sun Bowl Stadium.

The annual event recognizes the efforts by pre-K-12 personnel to teach, engage, nurture and mentor students in their care. Their encouragement helps thousands of area students to believe in themselves and their future goals.

Each teacher, administrator and support staff member will receive up to four general admission tickets to the game. For more information, teachers can contact UTEP’s Office of University Relations at 915-747-8244.
