This weekend, kids can enjoy a hands-on, educational one-day science camp while having fun at UTEP’s Chemistry Camp day.

Children ages 6-12 will experience chemistry like never before with our hands-on, one of a kind experiments that will enrich their minds while having loads of fun.

Activities will include making:

  • A dry ice smoking volcano
  • Color changing paper and putties
  • Gluep and bismuth crystals
  • UV bubbles and many more activities

Kids will spend the day at the UTEP campus participating in a variety of age appropriate activities and experiments from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. so make sure they pack a sack lunch and clear beverage. Parents can register their child online at ppp.utep.edu or by phone at (915) 747-5142.
