Kids will be out of school for summer soon and if they are interested in theatre or dance, then these two camps might be the answer to keeping them busy.

UTEP theatre and dance camps are now registering children for their upcoming summer camps beginning June 6 – 24, 2016.

Acting Camps

This acting camp focuses on the acting and rehearsal process. All students will learn the fundamentals of the performance process of theatre concluding the course with a live performance for family and friends on the last day of the camp. These camps require a great deal of dedication and discipline from all students involved.

Beginning

  • Ages 7-12, Monday-Friday, 9a.m.-12p.m. = $245 (Students should have second grade reading / writing level)

Advanced

  • Ages 13-18, Monday-Friday, 9a.m.-12p.m. = $245

These camps focus on the appreciation, performance, and creation of dance. Enrolled dancers will take a series of daily classes in various dance styles including ballet, contemporary, tap, and jazz.  Students will create their own choreography concluding the course with a live performance for family and friends on the last day of the camp.

Young Dancers

  • Ages 7-12, Monday-Friday, 1p.m. - 4p.m. = $245

Tiny Toes

  • Ages 4-6, Monday-Friday, 1p.m. - 4p.m. = $245
