UTEP Dinner Theatre Holding Auditions for Priscilla Queen of the Desert – the Musical

Are you an actor, dancer, singer? Then you may be interested in the auditions being held by the UTEP Dinner Theatre for their latest production of Priscilla Queen of the Desert.

Auditions will be held on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at 7 p.m. at the UTEP Dinner Theatre, 2^nd Floor Union Building West at the UTEP Campus.

All interested persons auditioning must have a song prepared to sing with a piano accompaniment. Everyone auditioning should provide their own sheet music, as a pianist will be provided. Those auditioning will also be asked to read from the script which will be provided on site and all auditions are private. All selected actors will receive $100 for expenses at the end of the run. The open roles available are for men and women from ages 16 on up as well as a young boy between 8-11 years old.

Rehearsals for Priscilla Queen of the Desert officially begin on Monday, August 22, 2016 and continue Monday – Fridays at 7 p.m. There will also be weekend rehearsals from September 24 and 25, 2016.

Priscilla Queen of the Desert is scheduled for 12 performances:

• September 30, October 1,2,5,6,7,9,12,13,14,15,16, 2016
