Usher reportedly is rethinking his legal strategy in his ongoing custody battle with Tameka Raymond — this after a jet ski accident left his 11-year-old stepson brain dead. TMZ is reporting that over the weekend Usher and Tameka talked about reaching an amicably settlement in their case.

According to TMZ’s sources, Usher has ordered his attorneys to draft a new proposal that would give Tameka majority custody to their two children and offer a significant raise in child support, something Tameka has been requesting in their drawn-out legal battle.

It appears that Usher feels differently about the situation now that he’s sees the suffering Tameka is currently going through with her son. Although terms of the new agreement have not been presented to Tameka, her lawyers are opened to a “reasonable settlement,” according to TMZ.
