UPDATE: Suspect In Kidnapping And Sexual Assault Of A 12 Year Old El Paso Girl Has Been Caught

On Friday night, a 12 year old girl was kidnapped from a football game in Horizon, and sexually assaulted by the man who allegedly kidnapped her. The El Paso Sheriff's Office turned to the public for help in finding the man. He has been caught, and is under a $500,000 bond.

43 year old Carlos A. Holcombe was found while deputies were patrolling the area north of Horizon High School. He was arrested and charged with Aggravated Kidnapping, but other charges against him are pending.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, Friday afternoon around 5:15, the 12-year old female victim was approached by a man described as a dark-skinned, middle-aged man with a well-trimmed beard at a football game. The suspect led the girl to a dark blue truck and drove her out of the school parking lot to an undisclosed location. Sheriff’s deputies say the suspect dropped the victim off behind the Cinemark Movie Theater on the 12000 block of Montana around 7:40 p.m.
