Ok, the out of control wildfire in Arizona is still burning like, well, a fire that's burning out of control.  So what's the latest?  Is Firemageddon 2011 - hey, that rhymes! - upon us?  Let's find out....

The good news is, firefighters in Arizona tell officials with El Paso Electric that their facilities there are not in imminent danger.  The bad news is, this fire is a monster.  It has burned an area of land half the size of the state of Rhode Island!  And even though ABC News apparently doesn't have a clue that our electric company is called EL PASO Electric Company - they call it Paso Electric in the story - we are still making national news because of the possibility that those electrical lines could be damaged and could have serious consequences for EPE and the city.  Look at this video from the fire zone....

We'll keep an eye out on this story, but in the meantime, juuuuuuuuuust in case, check out these tips on dealing with rolling blackouts.  And watch KVIA tonight - Darren is doing a story on how to be prepared for rolling blackouts.

And honestly, I'm not trying to scare anyone or be Chicken Little, but you can't convince everyone of that!
