El Pasoans who cannot attend the Papal mass in Juarez will be able to view it at the Sun Bowl on February 17, 2016.

The Catholic Diocese of El Paso has confirmed that the mass will be seen in El Paso at the Sun Bowl as they stream Pope Francis' Mass from a large field in Ciudad Juarez.
Catholic churches across El Paso are giving discounted tickets to parishioners to view the Pope's mass at the Sun Bowl. Tickets to watch the mass at the Sun Bowl are $15, and parishioners can stop by their local church to pick up a code and receive a $5 discount.
The cost of the ticket to attend is to off-set the cost of renting out the Sun Bowl so as not to have the diocese incur any debt from the event and Pope Francis’ visit to the borderland.
Local Catholic churches also received life size cut outs of the Pope so that parishioners can take pictures of themselves with the Pope’s image to share on their social media platforms using #popefrancisontheborder.
