The good news is there are no closures scheduled during the Thanksgiving Holiday, November 22-26, but on November 27, overnight closures of I-10 and along Sunland Park Drive will resume.

Crews will be conducting bridgework over I-10, but, probably more important to commuters, crews will be placing barrier walls along Sunland Park Drive to prepare for more intense work coming to the I-10/Sunland interchange in 2018. However, a couple of 24/7 closures are coming to South Desert Blvd near North Mesa Street and Paisano Drive at Sunland Park Drive in December:

South Desert Boulevard will close off completely for 96 hours (4 days) starting Dec. 4 at McClintock Drive. Crews will be paving the new Mesa eastbound exit ramp.

Paisano Drive will close off completely at the Sunland Park Drive intersection for 5 days starting December 11. The good news is crews will be building a dedicated right-turn lane from Sunland Park Drive (coming from Doniphan Drive) to Paisano Drive. The dedicated right-turn lane will be a temporary relief-valve to help keep traffic moving while crews increase construction in that corner of the I-10/Sunland interchange for the next several months.
