It was a deadly weekend on El Paso roads. Two teenagers were killed in separate rollover accidents.

Friday afternoon, Chapin High School baseball player Christopher Carreon was killed when the driver of the vehicle he was in lost control of the car, hit a curb, and rolled over. Carreon died at the scene. The other two teens in the car were taken to UMC with serious injuries.

On Saturday night, an 18-year-old girl was killed when the Jeep she was in didn't negotiate the curve of Jobe road in far east El Paso, and went off a dirt embankment. There were four people in the car, including the unidentified girl. She died at the scene. The three other passengers were taken to an area hospital with minor injuries.

Friends say alcohol was not involved in this crash. They say the driver was speeding because they didn't want to miss curfew as they were driving home from a movie. The girl who was killed was reportedly the only one in the vehicle who was not wearing a seatbelt.

Our condolences and prayers go out to the families of those involved in these tragic accidents.
