With A Chocolate Affair coming up on soon I thought I’d dig into the health benefits of chocolate.

Turns out that eating dark chocolate really does a body good!

Many studies have been done and the results are that dark chocolate can lower blood pressure, and it can even lower the cholesterol in our bodies.

Other benefits include, stimulating endorphin production, which gives a feeling of pleasure.

Chocolate also contains serotonin, which acts as an anti-depressant and it contains some caffeine and other substances which are stimulants. Plus, it tastes super good!

So really there is no reason to feel guilty when eating chocolate. In fact embrace it and join us at A Chocolate Affair this year!
