Oh-em-gee, ya'll, the Trans-Siberian Orchestra is headed our way! And not to Las Cruces this time.

TSO is bringing its massive rock opera, “The Ghosts of Christmas Eve,” complete with their patented blinding light show, to The Don Haskins Center on Friday, November 25, the day after Thanksgiving.

Even cooler, they're doing two shows; 3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

Trans-Siberian Express Fan Club members will get first dibs on the tickets. Fan club members can purchase them beginning at 10 a.m. September 7 through September 9. General public tickets will likely go on sale on September 16th. Ticket prices have not been announced.

The rock music news site Loudwire describes “The Ghosts of Christmas Eve” this way:

The Ghosts of Christmas Eve is a rock opera that follows the journey of a runaway who breaks into an abandoned theater on December 24, with the ghosts and spirits from the building’s past helping to turn her life around. It features songs such as “Christmas Eve/Sarajevo 12/24,” “O’ Come All Ye Faithful” and “Christmas Canon.”'
