Trans-Siberian Orchestra is making a long-overdue return to El Paso, their first since 2011.

Although TSO has visited the Borderland since 2011, the last couple of times they were here the shows were in Las Cruces -- including their most recent visit in 2014.

But this time the progressive rock band is bringing its massive sound, light and stage show to the Don Haskins Center for two performances: Friday, November 25 at 3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. (That's the Friday after Thanksgiving Day.)

Tickets cost $42.00 and $71.50 plus taxes and fees and can be purchased at Ticketmaster.com, all Ticketmaster outlets, charge-by-phone at 800-745-3000, and at the University Ticket Center.

"The Ghosts of Christmas Eve: The Best of TSO & More" follows the journey of a young runaway who, on Christmas Eve, breaks into an abandoned vaudeville theater seeking shelter from the cold.

“Christmas Eve Sarajevo 12/24,” “O’ Come All Ye Faithful,” “Good King Joy,” and “Christmas Canon” will be among the TSO and yuletide classics that get a rock band twist in this production.
