Bring up El Paso High School and most long-time El Pasoans think 'haunted'.

If you've lived here long enough you've undoubtedly heard a spooky tale or two about alleged ghost sightings and paranormal activity at what has been called The Scariest Haunted High School In America.

And you've probably also heard that there are secret passages underneath the hallowed hallways of the Lady on the Hill. For decades they were the stuff of myths and legend, but some years ago their existence was officially confirmed and this Halloween the E.P.H.S. Alumni Association will be giving the curious a chance to get a rare look inside the historic building's legendary tunnels.

The Halloween Tunnel Tours will take place on Saturday, October 27, 2018 from noon to 6 p.m. Admission is $10; $5 for students. Each tour will include some history of the building, and tales of the school's alleged hauntings and ghostly residents will be told, according to the Facebook post below.

The Alumni Association is currently in the process of remodeling the old custodian's home and is raising money for the project. Their goal is to convert it into an alumni center that will also house the first stand-alone high school museum in El Paso.

Be warned: although not a ghost tour, per se, that's not to say your tour group will be the only ones down there. Muahaha!
