Today’s Celebrity Birthdays: Shirley MacLaine [VIDEO]

There are 18 days until Mother's Day, and today is the birthday of one of the most memorable mom's in all of movie history!

Shirley MacLaine played Aurora Greenway, mom to Debra Winger's character who dies of breast cancer.  They had a total love-hate relationship, but when Debra's character is in the hospital on her deathbed waiting for a shot to help ease her pain and the nurses don't respond fast enough, Shirley's character loses it:

That scene kills me every time because I can see my normally calm, controlled Mom doing the same thing!  So with only a couple of weeks left until Mother's Day, make sure you use your time wisely and get Mom something nice!
