Tips and Hacks to Score the Best Tickets to Garth Brooks

When tickets to the Garth Brooks World Tour go on sale Friday morning it’s a safe bet the April 8 show at the Pan Am Center in Las Cruces will sell out in a matter of hours.

Once 10 a.m. rolls around, the race to get seats to his only show in the entire state of New Mexico will be on.

And unlike every other concert, there is no pre-sale for this one; all tickets, from front row to bleed seats, will go on sale at 10 a.m. on a “best available” basis, meaning the faster you buy your tickets, the better your seats will be.

The Pan Am Center only seats about 12,500 people, so if you want to see Garth Brooks and his wife and fellow country singer Trisha Yearwood you’re going to have to have a plan -- and a little help from your friends.

Ticketmaster recommends using the following insider tips:

1. Create a Ticketmaster Account. Store your billing info so you can speed through checkout instead of losing time entering information. Every second counts. Here's the LINK to create an account.

If you already have an account, make sure your credit card numbers and expiration date, address, phone number, etc. is current.

2. Get online at home or work. Or wherever your internet speed is the fastest. Speed matters. Shared Wi-Fi networks tend to be slower. No bueno. Speed is key.

3. Sign In Ahead of Time

4. Use more than one computer and/or tablet. But don't use more than one browser (or browser tab) on each device, or their system might think you're a bot and cancel your tickets.

5. Split Up To Get In. Even though the limit is 8 tickets, the fewer tickets you search for, the better your odds of scoring them. Have more than one person in your group buy tickets and sit apart if you have to.

If I may offer up a suggestion of my own; use your phone. Pretty much everyone buys their tickets online nowadays so why not go old-school and call the 800 numbers listed below. It can’t hurt.

• There will only be two ways to get official tickets on Friday: online at www.ticketmaster.com/garthbrooks or on the phone via Ticketmaster Express at 1-866-448-7849 or 1-800-745-3000.

• All tickets and V.I.P. packages go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 17

• Seats will be sold on a "Best Available" basis.

• All tickets will be $74.98. Price includes parking and service fees.

• There is an 8 ticket per person limit

• Tickets WILL NOT be available at the Pan Am Center Ticket Office or any Ticketmaster outlet.
