Las Cruces Police to Wait Tables at Local Restaurant to Aid Special Olympics

New Mexico Police Department is suiting up to serve!.....You dinner?

Las Cruces Police officers will participate in a Tip-A-Cop fundraiser on May 2 to benefit New Mexico Special Olympics! Come out to Texas Roadhouse in Las Cruces from 5pm-9 pm, Thursday, May 2 to eat and tip-a-cop!

LCPD officers will help seat customers and act as servers to generate tips that are donated to New Mexico Special Olympics. Officers also will be selling Law Enforcement Torch Run T-shirts during the Tip-A-Cop fundraiser. Proceeds from the sale of Torch Run T-shirts, priced at $15 each, also benefit Special Olympics.

Donations collected during the Tip-A-Cop evening help families of Special Olympians with travel and lodging expenses during the New Mexico Special Olympics games held annually in Albuquerque.
