I know a majority of you reading this live in El Paso, but just to the north this weekend there are some fun filled family activities to get involved in...
Kicking off tomorrow is the Southern New Mexico State Fair at the Fairgrounds just west of Las Cruces! The fair is held Wednesday through Sunday. Tickets are available at the gate or online at snmstatefairgrounds.net. All of the fair events are held at the Southern New Mexico State Fairgrounds, 12 miles west of Las Cruces on interstate 10, exit 132 or exit 127. Admission is only 6$ Wednesday and Thursday and 12$ Friday through Sunday. The fair is so much fun! Funnel cakes, rides, fresh lemonade and did I mention rides! Take the whole family!
Another great event going on in Las Cruces is the NM Pumpkin Festival. Saturday and Sunday 11am-7pm each day at the Mesilla Valley Maze Family Fun Farm off Picacho road. Admission is only $10.50 for adults and $8.50 for the kids! Activities and events include, pie eating, seed spitting, pumpkin shuffleboard, pumpkin painting, pumpkin glow, the country store and so much more!
