‘Seussical the Musical’ – A one night only performance by Kids-N-Co. of the musical based on the works of Dr. Seuss in celebration of Read Across America Day. 7:30 p.m. at the Plaza Theatre. Tickets: $10 and $15. 351-1455

‘Godspell’ - El Paso Community College Theatre Ensemble presents the rock musical based on the Gospel of Matthew. 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday plus special 2:30 p.m. matinee on Sunday. Cedric ‘The Entertainer’ – Best known as the co-star of the WB sitcom The Steve Harvey Show, as Eddie in the Barbershop films, and as one of the four Original Kings of Comedy. 8 p.m. at the Plaza Theatre, Tickets: $35-$75. More Details

German Spring Bazaar - The German Catholic Church of Fort Bliss 10th annual bazaar. 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the German Community Center, Building 5095 at Fort Bliss. Vendors will display and sell their various decorations, quilts and woodcraft products. German bratwurst, waffles, beer, coffee, cakes, pastries and cookies also available. El Paso Paws Pageant – Dog pageant hosted by Operation Freedom Paws. Dogs compete for Best of Show in small, medium and large dog categories. 12 noon to 3 p.m. Wyndham Airport Hotel, 2027 Airway. Free admission. 820-9963

Juan de Marcos & the Afro-Cuban All Stars – One of the best-known and most successful Cuban orchestras performing today. 7 p.m. at UTEP’s Magoffin Auditorium. Tickets: $35 and $40. More Details
