FRIDAY – SATURDAY:

El Paso Symphony Orchestra - The Symphony will perform its season finale featuring the return of Gürer Aykal as Emeritus Conductor. 7:30 p.m. in the Plaza Theatre. Tickets: $40, $35, $30, $20 and $15. More Details

SATURDAY:

Mike Epps - The actor/comedian best known for playing Day-Day Jones in "Next Friday," and the sequel, "Friday After Next," and “Black Doug” in "The Hangover" brings his standup act to the Abraham Chavez Theater. 8 p.m. Tickets: $48-$68. More Details

Downtown Artist Market – The market offers the chance to shop for original arts and crafts in an outdoor setting while enjoying entertainment featuring local artists, food vendors and free activities for the entire family. 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Union Plaza District (near The Garden Restaurant) along Anthony Street. Lower Valley Health Fair - The 31st annual health fair promotes health education and wellness. Free health screenings and preventive education. Entertainment, children’s games, food, and more will also be available. 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Socorro High School, 10150 Alameda. More Details

SUNDAY:

Mission Trail Art Market - Area artisans will display their fine arts and crafts. Food and drink concessions will be available plus entertainment by the Pistoleros de San Elizario who will perform a Billy the Kid breakout reenactment at the old county jail. 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the historic Veteran’s Memorial Plaza at the San Elizario Chapel, 1500 Main in San Elizario. El Paso Raiders Football - The semipro football team will hosts the Silver City Reapers. 2:30 p.m. at UTEP’s Sun Bowl Stadium. Admission is free. 497-6266

Earth Day:

The City of El Paso Environmental Services Department’s Earth Day celebration is 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday in the Union Plaza in conjunction with the Downtown Market. The event will feature informational and educational booths, music, games and family activities. Admission is free.

‘Party for the Planet’ at the El Paso Zoo, 4001 E. Paisano. Exhibits and activities from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday. Zoo admission: $10, $7.50 active duty military and spouse with ID and ages 60 and older, $6 for ages 3-12; free for zoological society members and ages 2 and younger. More Details
