‘Hit The Road Jack!’ - The UTEP Department of Theater and Dance presents its spring dance performance featuring the music of Ray Charles as inspiration. Fox Fine Arts Wise Family Theater. El Paso Golden Gloves Tournament – The El Paso County Coliseum hosts the 71st annual showcase for regional amateur boxers. 7 p.m. Friday and 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Tickets: $10, $5 military, seniors, students. 203-0494

SATURDAY:

Mariachi Vargas de Tecalitlan – If you’re a fan of Mariachi music then you’ll want to be at the Plaza Theatre to enjoy the return of “El mejor mariachi del mundo.” 8 p.m. Tickets: $30 to $100. Plaza Theatre Box Office or online.

UTEP Men’s Basketball – The Miners hosts UCF at the Don Haskins Center. Tip-off is 7 p.m. Tickets: $8-$50. 747-5234

SUNDAY:

Race for the Cure - The 21st annual Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation’s 5K Race for the Cure at Cohen Stadium. Events include a 5K competitive run at 8:30 a.m., and a 5K and 1-mile noncompetitive run/walk at 9 a.m. A 1-mile Fun Run for kids is at 8 a.m. Registration begins at 6 a.m.
