Cottonwood Mineshaft ghost tour and movie night - The Paso del Norte Paranormal Society will lead tours of the caves on the west side of Franklin Mountains State Park. Talks and screenings of "Ghost Stories of El Paso" volumes 1-3 also will be featured. More Details
Concordia Cemetery Walking Tour - El Paso Ghost Tours will conduct an after-hours walking tour of Concordia cemetery from 11pm to 2am. More Details
El Paso Chopin Music Festival - Andrew Tyson performs at 7 p.m. at the Chamizal National Memorial. Admission is free. More Details
SATURDAY – SUNDAY:
Boo at the Zoo - The El Paso Zoo will host its 5th annual “merry, not scary” safe trick-or-treating event for families. First 1,000 kids receive a complimentary Halloween bag from Sonic Drive-In. Activities include the Animal Pumpkin Squish, free candy stations for ages 12 and younger, as well as games and activities. More Details
New Mexico Pecan Festival – Two days of “nuts and nutty fun” that includes a “Rootin’ Tootin’ Rib Cookoff”. 11 a.m.-7 p.m. at the Mesilla Valley Maze, 3855 W. Picacho in Fairacres, N.M., near Las Cruces. More Details
SUNDAY:
Mount Cristo Rey pilgrimage - The 72nd annual procession to the four-story-tall statue of Christ on the cross at the top of the mountain begins at 10 a.m., with Mass celebrated at noon. (575) 523-7577
