Downtown Ghost Tour – El Paso Ghost Tours will take you into no less than two haunted locations in the downtown area, preceded by a walk of downtown El Paso’s historical landmarks. More Details

La Union Maze – 12-acre circular cornfield maze on Highway 28 in La Union, N.M., next to Zin Valle Winery. More Details

Maldonado Maze – 19-acre family-owned maze on Hwy 28 in La Union, N.M. featuring a petting zoo, hayrides, slides, pedal car maze, mini mazes, and jumping balloons. More Details

Cottonwood Mineshaft ghost tour and movie night – The Paso del Norte Paranormal Society will lead tours of the caves on the west side of Franklin Mountains State Park. Talks and screenings of “Ghost Stories of El Paso” volumes 1-3 also will be featured. More Details

Concordia Cemetery Walking Tour – El Paso Ghost Tours will conduct an after-hours walking tour of Concordia cemetery from 11pm to 2am. More Details

El Paso Chopin Music Festival – Andrew Tyson performs at 7 p.m. at the Chamizal National Memorial. Admission is free. More Details


Boo at the Zoo – The El Paso Zoo will host its 5th annual “merry, not scary” safe trick-or-treating event for families. First 1,000 kids receive a complimentary Halloween bag from Sonic Drive-In. Activities include the Animal Pumpkin Squish, free candy stations for ages 12 and younger, as well as games and activities. More Details

New Mexico Pecan Festival – Two days of “nuts and nutty fun” that includes a “Rootin’ Tootin’ Rib Cookoff”. 11 a.m.-7 p.m. at the Mesilla Valley Maze, 3855 W. Picacho in Fairacres, N.M., near Las Cruces. More Details


Mount Cristo Rey pilgrimage – The 72nd annual procession to the four-story-tall statue of Christ on the cross at the top of the mountain begins at 10 a.m., with Mass celebrated at noon. (575) 523-7577
