It's not often that you can purchase a season ticket to a sporting event for the cash that might be in your wallet. Even if you don't carry any cash, a $28 debit charge is probably something that most people can handle.

Meet the "Baker's Dozen". The UTEP Athletic Department has created a season ticket for the 2018-19 UTEP women's basketball campaign and they have cut the price of a general admission season ticket from $60 to $28. The one-day sale will be this Monday, October 15th from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and applies to new season ticket holders only.

The good news for watching head coach Kevin Baker and his Miner women play their basketball home games at the Don Haskins Center is that every seat in the arena with the exception of the blue chairs on the floor is GA. It is a good way to enjoy 15 games plus a pair of exhibition contests. If you do the math, that's less than two bucks a game for a chance to sit in the first row of the orange seats.

Purchases may be made in person at the Brumbelow Building on the UTEP campus or by calling (915) 747-6150. Individuals are encouraged to mention “Baker’s Dozen,” when interacting with the ticket office.
