The Plaza Classic Film Festival Is Back! The Plaza Classic Film Festival Is Back!

You know, I'm a senior citizen, and I've been watching movies for a long time now.  I don't go to the movie theater as much as I used to back in the day, because, frankly, new movies don't hold the same facination for me as old movies do.  But once a year, I not only go to the theater, but I get to watch some seriously good movies when the Plaza Classic Film Festival takes over the equally classic downtown Plaza Theater!

The Festival kicks off Thursday, August 4th, a complete listing of the movies and times are here.  There are a lot of other events that surround the Festival, including concerts and talks with film experts like Leonard Maltin. 

First up on the movie lineup, however, is Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, the Marilyn Monroe classic where she sings 'Diamonds Are A Girl's Best Friend' - talk to me Harry Winston, tell me all about it!
