The ‘Most Instagrammed’ Locations in Texas and New Mexico

When you go someplace cool, social media law requires that you post a photo of it on Instagram. And in New Mexico, that cool place is right up the road from us.

A travel website analyzed millions of photos on Instagram to determine which location in every state produces the most hashtags for Instagram posts. When it comes to The Land of Enchantment, the most photogenic location is White Sands National Monument. As of this posting, there are over 7,000 posts on Instagram with the hashtag #whitesandsnationalmonument.

Texans and those visiting Texas are less about nature and more about fast cars. Circuit of the Americas in Austin generates the most hashtags in the Lone Star State. Over 25,000 to date. Circuit of the Americas is home to Formula 1, MotoGP, X Games, Austin360 Amphitheater, RedFest, and more.
