They say that a way to a man's heart is through his stomach, and my wife Rosie won my heart the first time she made me her now, "World Famous Tacos". Family and friends from all over the world have gathered in her kitchen just to enjoy her one of a kind, delicious tacos. Now, with the Mexican Food Cook-Off  just days away, my wife has graciously agreed to share her secret recipe with you. First, put a pound of lean, ground beef in a skillet, with no cooking oil. Let it simmer in medium heat. Meanwhile, dice up half an onion and 3 jalapeño peppers, and mix it in with the ground beef for 15 to 20 minutes. When the meat is cooked, add a half cup of water. Lower the heat to low and now here comes the secret ingredient. Most mexican mothers add salt and pepper at this time. NOT..!! Add a tablespoon of Knorr's brand "Caldo Con Sabor De Pollo", (Chicken Flavor Bouillon). For the taco shells, buy "Guerrero" brand tortillas, (because they don't fall apart when you're frying). On medium heat, place the tortillas in a separate pan, and fill it with the ground meat, and fold it in the shape of a taco. Next, in another frying pan, add extra virgin olive oil  and place the tacos in the pan for 3 to 5 minutes, until they get crispy. Add, lettuce, tomato, and grated cheese, and top it off with sour cream. There you have it boys and girls. The secret is out of the bag, and in your stomach. Enjoy, and we'll see you this saturday at the Mexican Food Cook-Off in San Jacinto Plaza.
