The Limited is now limited to strictly online purchases.

The women's apparel chain abruptly closed all 250 of its stores on Sunday, citing low sales and too much online competition.

Among the casualties are the Cielo Vista and Sunland Park mall locations.

In a message titled “This isn’t goodbye” posted on its website, the company said they would continue to sell items online. However, it's not clear for how much longer. Industry experts expect the company is likely headed for liquidation.

For now the company has begun offering a half-off sale for 'every single thing' on their website. But be warned: all sales are final and no returns or exchanges will be honored on any purchase you make.

The Limited is the third brick-and-mortar retailer to announce it is closing some or all of its El Paso stores in as many weeks.

Macy's will be closing the Sunland Park Mall location sometime in the next few months, while Kmart plans to shutter the McRae location in east El Paso and the store on Dyer by April.
