The first movie star to receive the honor was actress Joanne Woodward. The first cartoon character was Mickey Mouse. Some Hollywood legends like Clint Eastwood, Julia Roberts, Al Pacino, Steve Martin, Warren Beatty and George Clooney,  have all been nominated, but have declined their induction for numerous reasons..!!
