The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office To Host A One Week Summer Youth Academy

The youth Law Enforcement Academy is free and set to begin June 10th - 14th, Monday through Friday from 8:30 to 12:30 PM.

Topics presented will be from various sections within the Sheriff’s Office and may include instruction from other local agencies/institutions.

So, if your child is between 13 and 18 years of age, enroll them to see what Law Enforcement is about!

All participants will be asked to provide their own transportation to and from the training academy.  Food is not provided but youths are encouraged to bring snacks for consumption during breaks at designated areas.

ELIGIBILITY:

• Must be between 13 & 18 years of age to apply
• If a person has reached the age of 18 and has graduated from high school they would not be eligible for the youth academy.
