The 24th Annual Women’s Luncheon Is Coming In April

The YWCA El Paso del Norte Region brings back the 24 Annual Women's Luncheon featuring Ashley Judd.

The development of The Young Women's Christian Association took place in London, England in 1855.  The YWCA began charter in El Paso back in 1909 as an employment buerau and lunch for working women.  With 5 full branches in the Sun City in central part of those areas in city.  Programs range from caring for children, economic empowerment, fitness, housing to so much more!

The fundraising event helps in supporting programs for children in the area along with strengthen families and develop leadership for women and girls to reach in their full potential.

This year Ashley Judd will be this year's speaker, is strongly committed to social justice, believes that the sexual and reproductive health of girls and women is at the heart of poverty eradication and sustainable development. She is also a passionate advocate of the right of every girl and boy to enter adulthood safely and empowered, and for ending all forms of gender-based violence everywhere.

The fundraiser will take place Thursday April 27th at the El Paso Convention Center at 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. tickets are available here!
