Teen Kicked Out of Prom Because Dress, Dancing Evoked ‘Impure Thoughts’
A 17-year-old girl in Virginia was kicked out of her prom because some of the dads chaperoning the dance thought she would give boys 'impure thoughts.'
According to a post on the teen’s sister's website, the dress she wore met her school's "fingertip length" dress code requirement. But even so, the minute she arrived she was criticized by one of the female prom organizers who felt the dress was too short. The lady, identified only as Mrs. D, let her in but warned her to "make sure it stays pulled down."
A little later, while the girl and her date were on the dance floor swaying to the music, Mrs. D purportedly went up to her and asked her to leave because "some of the dads who were chaperoning had complained that my dancing was too provocative," she wrote, leading "the young men at the prom to think impure thoughts."
Below is a photo the teen took of her in the dress. Do you think it was inappropriate enough to get her kicked out?
