The historic Magoffin Home in downtown El Paso is celebrating the holiday season with their annual Open House and Fiesta.

They will have lights and holiday decorations throughout the home that you can see as you tour the rooms. The Magoffin family has been in the El Paso area since the mid-1800s. The home was built around 1875 by Joseph Magoffin and has classic Territorial style architecture with a center courtyard. Choirs and bands will be on hand throughout the day of the event, and you can take care of some holiday shopping with the vendors who will also be on the grounds. There will be lots of free activities for kids, and they'll get a chance to see a part of El Paso history up close.

You can get tickets to the event at the door. They are $3 for children and adults. Kids 5 and under are free.

If you are interested in being a vendor at the event, you call call Machelle Wood at Machelle.Wood@thc.texas.gov or call 915.533.5146. There is a booth fee of $10, which will be a donation to our co-sponsor, the Casa Magoffin Companeros.
