Take The Family Camping At Hueco Tanks

It's been quite a while since you could take the family out camping at Hueco Tanks. They are hosting a Family Camp Out event open to only the first 15 families (max of 6 per family) who reserve space. There will be a demonstration on how to set up a campsite and a primitive hunting and outdoor cooking demonstration. Your family will be treated to a star viewing party, and an early morning hike that will give you the chance to catch a glimpse of some of the animals most people miss.

You have to get your reservation in by July 18th, and there will be no waiting list for this event. Hueco Tanks officials ask that you reserve space only if you know you will be able to make it. Further details will be sent out to those families attending as the event gets closer.

Call (915) 857-1135 ext.0 to reserve a spot. If you click "Going" on the Facebook event page, you will not have a reservation. There is a a $9 fee for attendees ages 13 +, and $2 for ages 5-12.
