The Weather Gods, A.K.A Doppler Dave (yea I’m biased a little, so what?!) is predicting a strong cold front pushing through Wednesday night and this front will bring a lot more than winds and cooler air. Snow is coming along too.

According to local meteorologists, this past Sunday’s wind storm has put the borderland in the #7 spot for the windiest day recorded in El Paso.

The National Weather Service of El Paso recently tweeted out warning people in the borderland that Wednesday will be “CRAZY in the Borderland…. With VERY strong winds, blowing dust, mountain snow, lowland rain.”

Whoopsie!

There is a chance of snow in El Paso, and that's why almost every school district in the Borderland is calling for a 2-hour delay. Check here for your full list of schools and updates on Fort Bliss.

According to the National Weather Service, chances for showers are on the increase for the start of this week.

Warming centers are also set to open up across El Paso to help those that may not have a working heater.

CHRISTMAS IS COMING!!! And apparently Mother Nature got the memo and decided to grace the borderland with winter-like weather a day AFTER the official start of the Winter season (December 21st) but hey, it’s just in time for Christmas so we will take it.

El Paso’s Children's Museum, La Nube, has announced its first-ever kid's digital photo contest, “The Clouds Around Us.”

El Paso always knows how to surprise and keep us on our toes.

El Paso sunsets are in fact, a work of art. They’re beautiful, sometimes look like the sky is on fire, and make for a great postcard if postcards are still a thing. However, an El Paso rainbow after a rainstorm just might be even better in my opinion.
